I’ve piggybacked your Twitter bot to create a Yahoo! Pipe that can be monitor specific stocks.

This one isn’t hosted by me so no more having to worry about the ASX.

As a prelude you all may wish to check out Wealth Esteem’s Twitter Bot. It generates an RSS feed as well so you don’t have to join twitter to receive it’s information.

At the moment you can’t specify which stocks to get an RSS feed from, but that should be in place by the end of August.

All the feeds I knew of are currently down. But I’m negotiating for a new one.

Keep checking back, especially as you didn’t use a real email address so you’ve got no way of knowing that I’ve answered you.

Hi Paul, You mentioned that there are some web-based / email solutions for subscribing to ASX announcements. I couldn’t find any though. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Yes, goosmurf was scraping the ASX’s feed and that is a breach of the Terms of Service. He’s looking at alternatives.
